I'm new. What should I expect?
If you're considering attending a service at Shoaff Park Baptist Church, you may be wondering what to expect during your visit. Below are answers to several frequently asked questions.
When do we meet?
We have services Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday night. We also have Sunday School on Sunday mornings for children, teens, young adults and older adults. Here's a typical weekly schedule:
Sunday 9:30 am - Sunday School
Sunday 10:30 am - Morning Worship Service
Wednesday 6:30 pm - Prayer Meeting.
What are our services like?
Our services include worship through congregational singing, Scripture reading, giving, fellowship and expositional teaching and preaching of the Word of God. Our services are conservative in nature.
What should you wear?
There is freedom to dress as one personally deems appropriate. You will notice a wide variety in our services and events. Some men wear jeans, casual slacks, and some a suit and tie. Women wear appropriate clothing ranging from dresses to slacks.
Is childcare provided?
The nursery, staffed by loving volunteers, is available for children 3 and under during Sunday School, Sunday morning and Sunday evening services. Junior Church is provided for children ages 3-10 during the Sunday morning service. Some families also choose to keep their children in the main service.
